Project Overview
Omnicell’s vision is to create fully autonomous hospital pharmacy. They reached out to formfuture because of our unique knowledge about vision/sensor technology (Amazon go) and creating tech enabled smart hybrid UX experiences.
Objective
The primary goal is to generate and visualize ways to improve efficiency, accuracy and comfort of the end2end UX (digital/physical) of an Anesthesiologist and his workstation (AWS) in the operating room.
Develop and implement smart sensing technologies to understand its potential for pharmacy automation in other application areas and for medication inventory management.
Approach
Leveraging formfuture’s expertise in understanding complex digital/physical workflows and developing innovative, practical solutions in collaboration with our client and insights/feedback from anesthesiologists. We started by analyzing the current practices to gain insights into existing workflows, then developed new models and processes for testing and validation.

Visualize all digital and physical touch-points between the anesthesiologist patient and his workstation to better understand opportunities for improvement and to scope the design, development and approval process.
